We have openings and specials for many classes. October Beginner Class Special BOGO ½ off!
Sign up with a friend and the second person receives ½ off their tuition for the month

• All Predance classes (ages 3 ½ -5)
• Elementary Jazz 1 (9:30) and Ballet 1 (10:30) on Saturday mornings (ages 7-10)
• Elementary Tap 1-2 (6:30) pm Tuesday(ages 7-10)
• J/S Ballet 1-2 6:00-7:15 pm Monday, Jazz 1 6:00-7:00 pm Thursday and Tap 1 7:45-8:45 pm Tuesday(11-adult)

West Chester Dance Works

West Chester Dance Works has begun rehearsal for our holiday production “The Night Before Christmas”. Save the date, December 7, 2013, to see this original community production performed as a part of “An Old Fashioned Christmas In West Chester." 

Join the company for our "Volunteer, Donor and Friend Appreciation and Season Preview!" on Saturday, October 19th at 2 pm at Milestone Events, 600 E. Market Street, West Chester, PA 19382. This free event is a thank you to our supporters. It also marks the opening of our fall 2013 season!

Diane Matthews School of Dance Arts

This week students of all ages, levels, and backgrounds came to the studio to try out their free dance class! They had a ball! If you missed this fun opportunity, it is never too late to try dance at our studio! Dance is a lot of fun, builds your muscles and memory, and connects you to the community. Why not give it a try?

We have the following classes available:

• Pre-Elementary (Ages 2.5-7)
• Elementary (Ages 7 – 10)
• Junior & Senior (ages 11 – adult)
• Adults (ages 18 and up)

The Signature/Training Company is preparing “Relevate Youth” Performances for your school or organization. Do you remember feeling like you’re not good enough, not pretty enough, not popular enough? It is time to get your praise on with West Chester Dance Works! There is an Annointed Praise dance for adults, Open House TOMORROW September 14, from 12:30-1:30 pm. Come find out what it’s all about. Spread the word! Do you know someone who wants to get moving in a positive, uplifting way?

Annointed Too for ages 8-16 Open House is also tomorrow at the same time! No experience needed!

Hip-Hop and Praise are in the Air!

After coming off of last week's exciting CBS 3 Eyewitness News coverage, the studio has been gearing up for its hip-hop and praise dance classes. We offer them for kids, teens, and adults! There is literally a class for everyone. Hip-hop will have you working out your body to the max, reaching and surpassing new physical goals each week! Our hip-hop classes are a great workout and a lot of fun. Speaking of fun, our praise dance classes keep the joy in praising God. We move with a purpose of praise and channel our inner prayers while dancing to inspirational music. This class will leave your feeling both physically and spiritually filled.

In the News!

This week the studio had the pleasure of being featured on CBS 3 Eyewitness News with Ukee Washington! We were featured for our partnership with Shining Stars Adapted Dance Camp. The week-long dance camp was started in loving memory of Sammy Zajac, a 8-year-old girl who love dance and died too soon. She was born with a mild case of cerebral palsy. To carry on her legacy, Sammy's parents, Carla and Denny, along with other parents, friends, and supporters, started the Shining Stars Adapted Dance Camp for children with disabilities. West Chester Dance Works is proud to be the host of this inspiring dance camp each summer.

Diane Matthews School of Dance Arts

Fall registration is officially open! We are currently enrolling for kid, teen, and adult classes. There is literally something for everyone. Whether you are an absolute beginner or a seasoned professional, Diane Matthews School of Dance Arts has classes just for you!

We have Ballet and Modern classes taught by talented instructors. Each class is tailor-made with students in mind. Ballet and Modern classes are great ways for kids to stay in shape, build confidence, and learn the importance of team work. For teenagers, these classes help to build strength, grace, and friendships. Our Ballet and Modern classes are also a great way for adult students to relieve stress while getting a great workout! In other company news, The Annointed Dance open house is just 4 weeks away! We invite anyone interested in praising God through dance to come and see what our group is all about. We are a ministry developing and using dance skills to praise the Lord and connect to others. Songs are interpreted through movement and faith as uplifting dance is shared in community outreach.
